Just watched the new Frankenstein movie from G. del Toro... and I'm pretty f'n disappointed. The storytelling was good, but the effects were god-awful... and I'm not advocating for some CG or AI garbage. Penny Dreadful's Rory Kinnear has always been the pinnacle of portraying Shelly's creature.

Honestly, the Geralt recasting really hasn't soured me to the series like it seems it has everyone else... Never played the game either so, shrug? Not saying it's the BEST recast ever, that would be Don Cheadle as War Machine, but a decent recast in my eyes.

Whelp, somehow on my little $20 amazon "vintage radio" that is basically a blu-tooth speaker with a radio in it... picked up a short-wave signal from Japan. Possibly SF? Haven't moved the dial and the markings don't really let me know the frequency, but it's pretty cool! 3I/Atlas boosting signal?

WOW! Did Fox Sports just end the bottom of the 12th with fans in LA praying to the song "Like a Prayer" by Madonna playing? Uh, I think the station has totally misunderstood a lot of different points of nuance in doing that. My suggested starting point: Learn what the lyrics are about.

Tuned in super-late for the WS game tonight, still tied... gotta say one thing. I'm really glad there is no extra-inning "ghost" / "manfred" / "default" runner. We don't need it in the regular season either once we install robo-umps for pitches.

Tried to play Devil's Advocate for a moment whatever RFK was talking about with advocating for more saturated fat consumption for the public... I was really hoping it was some telephone-game praise of mono-unsaturated fats in food, but no. Everyone is just still bonkers.

Totally forgot Donny Baseball was Toronto's bench coach... and also has never got a World Series ring. I've ragged on him for decades since leaving the Yankees, but I feel like THIS Donny getting some gold trinkets will offset other... "stuff". This Yankee fan is all in for Toronto!

3i/Atlas ... just wondering about it. Say it was sent to study the life on Mars that existed, uh, 1 billion years ago? What if the idea of intergalactic communication is just lagging behind the actual distances? We need to capture that space rock and bring it in for analysis.

Just saw a YT short titled "He ruined this cast-iron skillet!" where the video is a $25, 12" Lodge pan, but polished to a chrome shine. The dummies in the comments saying "now you can't season it!" are overwhelming. Just proves the more you push falsehoods, the more everyone believes them.
