gonna be tabling at brooklyn independent comics showcase in april, if anyone is in the area 🔆 not a mask-required show, but @ industry city which has plentiful outdoor seating and eating, and many public restrooms as well. and the best freshly made onigiri around. swing by !

for my fellow magfest goers. covid is still around and flu is at an all-time high for hospitalizations here in ny. if not taking precautions for yourself, take these ones for others
if you’ve decided not to mask to a con bc you “are the one taking on that risk” - have you tested before going, 3-5 days after you were last indoors without a mask, to ensure you’re not asymptomatically bringing something in? are you testing afterwards to make sure you don’t pass something along?

I hate to resort to this but these are the times we live in. My wife was laid off from her job in May of last year. I lost my job in 20 due to pandemic. We've been surviving by siphoning off our retirement savings, but we're both pushing 50 and the lack of decent insurance is literally killing us.
