As of Monday, 263 QC doctors had applied to be licensed in ON since Oct.23. “More than half of these applicants are family physicians, while the remainder practice across a broad range of specialties, including general practice, pediatrics, radiology, anesthesiology and others."

An AHS spokesperson confirmed the "one-time measure" is impacting some of its non-unionized staff but did not say how many employees are mandated to take the 15.5 hours of unpaid leave.
