It actually feels like FALL today across northeastern Oklahoma and southeast Kansas! Rain amounts are light but still very welcome. 🙂

Unfortunately (as expected), there's no cool-down for you friends down in southeastern Oklahoma. 🙁 #okwx

The rainier areas west/northwest of Tulsa will get the biggest cool-down today. Clouds will hold Tulsa's temperature down some -- at the very least a bit cooler than the past several days.

Southeastern Oklahoma will stay drier and, unfortunately, won't get a cool-down this afternoon. #okwx

Scattered showers move across parts of Green Country today and they'll provide a cool-down... for some of us.

Areas W/NW of Tulsa will see most of the rain. I think we'll see at least a few showers in Tulsa, though they'll be spotty and light in the metro.

Southeastern OK will stay drier. #okwx

Different way of saying what I already said, but I need one last skeet to vent:

I’m really really really really really tired of Red River constantly bringing out the best in Texas and bringing out the worst in OU.

That crap has got to end.

Alright, decompression time.

Blaylock and X-Rob are good… if they had ANYWHERE to run.

This season could collapse on us if the O line doesn’t find a frickin’ pulse.

Yeah, I’ve seen enough of Ott for many reasons.

I, for one, am incredibly tired of watching Texas be the better, more physical, competent team in this rivalry game.

It’s been an absolute theme for years now.

So tired of this.

Mateer has been terrible today. The hand is probably messing with him.

But… I don’t think you could convince me we would’ve been much better off than this with Hawkins out there.

This offense has had some glaring issues all season, and it’s all coming to a head now.

U-G-L-Y.

So we just not calling blocks in the back on punt returns anymore?

Oh well. Not like OU has shown any signs of life anyway.

Honestly, this Red River result is not surprising to me.

Infuriating, but not surprising.

There’s one QB on the field today who has looked pretty darn good.

And it’s not John Mateer.
stephennehrenz.bsky.social
This OU offense is hot garbage right now.

We’re in big trouble.
stephennehrenz.bsky.social
Gee. Sure would’ve been nice to get points at the end of the first half, huh Brent?
stephennehrenz.bsky.social
My word, David Stone and Jayden Jackson in on offense on a 4th down play.

Be still my heart!

Thankfully they finally got all the feeds working it looks like.

Same here. Getting “technical difficulties” on my ESPN app. 🤬

John Mateer is not on the injury report today, and OU Football’s official account just posted this.

Is… is it happening? 🫨

In addition to the southbound US-75 closure:

- The westbound I-44 ramp to southbound US-75 will also be CLOSED from 6:30 AM to 7 PM Saturday.

- Northbound US-75 at I-44 will be open, but narrowed down to one lane and significantly slowed from 6:30 AM to 7 PM Saturday. #TulsaTraffic

🚧 Tulsa drivers, some big things happening SATURDAY related to the US-75/I-44 work project:

Southbound US-75 will be CLOSED at the I-244 western split from 6:30 AM - 7 PM Saturday. You'll have to detour onto westbound I-244, then go eastbound on I-44 to get back to southbound US-75. #TulsaTraffic
