Trump: "With that being said, you can't have guns. You can't walk in with guns. You just can't. You can't walk in with guns. You can't do that. But it's just a very unfortunate incident."

This is one of my favorite charts because the obvious implication is ... obvious, but you absolutely are not allowed to say it out loud in US public discourse.

Oh, you know, just a metro daily newspaper running a service journalism roundup of munitions the government has used against its own people
Here's how to identify some crowd control munitions, canisters of which federal agents have left on the ground after deploying them against people in Minnesota. bit.ly/3YWp1jE

The majority of organizing happening in Minnesota isn’t just peaceful, it’s INVISIBLE. Moms showing up who won’t be interviewed on TV, people whose ICE patrols don’t turn into viral video. The grocery runs, the donations, the people filming bc they happen to be there. Please remember this.

Gonna try an experiment.

I keep thinking “I’ll go back to that video on Instagram” and then finding it doesn’t exist anymore.

I’m gonna save a bunch of videos of ICE abuses to a folder, screenshot it, and then go back a couple days later and compare.

ICE surveillance and "occupation" are hollowing out Twin Cities' cultural corridors.

I think it’s pretty safe to say we lost the war on terror.

ICE was created in 2003 in the wake of 9/11, alongside other universally hated agencies like and mass surveillance laws. And now it’s all the cause of our downfall.

I think that was probably intentional.

ICE is now responsible for 66% of the homicides in Minneapolis this year.

The Republican Party of Minnesota did this.

They brought the Utah momma's boy here to do the racist anti-Somali video, so that Trump would go after the state.

They did this with a smile on their face.

My guess is they're high-fiving each other that Minneapolis citizens are being gunned down.

There has been an increasing sense in Minneapolis that we are on our own, that our elected representatives are unwilling and/or unable to take action to get these murderous Nazi thugs out of our community. I really hope that changes today. The time for pleading TV hits ended weeks ago.

ICE has now carried out two summary executions of innocent people in the streets of an American city.

If you work for ICE, there's no denying that's the mission you're supporting now. You don't get to claim in one year or ten or twenty that you didn't know what ICE was doing. You're complicit.

ICE just shot another one of my neighbors. They had the person on the ground, being beaten by several agents, and then fired multiple shots. In front of the donut shop where we like to get donuts for our kids.

Waking up and immediately the first thing I saw on my phone was another ICE murder, just blocks away from my home.

This must end.

Never been more proud of Minnesota and her people than when, at the start of the march in a moment of quiet and anticipation, some guy yelled, "It's not even that cold out here!"
