Growing up in America: Trans*Man Edition

Before I turned 18, my future was legally determined an “other”, relegated to a closet, a soulmate disguised as a roommate, medical care a privilege, a propaganda lie, not fully funded, rights denied… /1
I hear Russia is lovely this time of year. Enjoy being drafted to fight in the Ukraine

(The bill in fact cuts nearly $1 trillion from Medicaid.)

No Kings protest, Plymouth, MA, Oct 18, 2025. Plymouth Rock can be seen in some photos. The protest was well attended, and there were many drones in the air to document the crowd size.
These people took time out of their day to protest the criminal liar, Trump. Trump is despised!

Hundreds of people at No Kings in our little Chicago suburb. A 30min train ride from the big one downtown with other local rallies in neighboring suburbs. I did a count at 12:30pm and it was a little under 3% of the village population, about 3x the turnout of June and much more diverse

No Kings, downtown Minneapolis. I’d say about 10k with more coming.

And here, gathered in the shadow of Independence Hall, it really hits you why we’re all here today. Why protests and rallies like No Kings matter. Why these people and being visible in our discontent matters.

"In the US, Trump is repressing opposition and instilling fear. In his face, American citizens are mobilizing; a way to compensate for the Democrats' powerlessness. The streets this Saturday will be the barometer of this resistance."
Aux Etats-Unis, Trump réprime l’opposition et distille la peur. Face à lui, les citoyens américains se mobilisent ; une façon de pallier l’impuissance des démocrates. La rue, ce samedi, sera le baromètre de cette résistance.
