Since having kids I’ve become brutally aware how stimulating I find noise. That awareness though as been incredibly helpful. I’ve found the more I control and manage the sound in my environment the far more patient and less reactive of a person I am. Crowded, indoor spaces are not my jam.

Every fall, tens of thousands of snow geese migrate all the way from Wrangel Island, Russia, to Skagit Valley, Washington.

My brother is 30, I’m 32, and my sister is 34. We all have college degrees. Technical writing, biochemistry, and Spanish were our respective majors. All have held stable and professional jobs since graduating. None are home owners and I think we’d all say it’s still a few years out if at all.
“It’s kind of a shocking number."

The internet can sense when you don't care. It likes to reward this it seems.
How is it my most popular posts were some fleeting political thoughts I made in jest while drunk?

I got an s25 ultra a month or so ago...I love it. If it weren't for that damn blue bubble I'd probably push my family to convert.

I just want to see everyone get theirs. Whatever that means I’m rooting for you.

If you have the itch to put a table on a slide in a presentation…take a big step back…and rethink your life choices.

No will be able to read and as the presenter you should have a better way to communicate your point then copying and pasting from you spreadsheet to the slide.

This is a reminder for all the tech folks…your mom doesn’t wanna vibe code her own version of slack. Stop trying to make personal, vibe-coded software a thing.

It’s been interesting interacting with people online since becoming a father. It’s wild how many chronically online people are disconnected from the reality most people live everyday.
