Another South Jersey Meet & Greet tonight. Headed home - 2
Hour drive. NJ is really a special state with so many different types of communities. While none of the other north jersey candidates have spent any time here I’m a believer that to win + change NJ we all need to be part of the conversation

If we are going to win in November we need to be able to talk to Republicans about how our vision is different and it will work to change NJ. I’m the only candidate doing that and I’m going to speak to Republicans the same way I speak to Democrats about the future of NJ with specifics.

Mark Kelly is a retired Navy pilot, astronaut, and dedicated public servant. He is a hero.

Elon Musk is a self-absorbed coward.

Hope that clears things up.

If you are in NJ, you will be astonished to find out that Spiller has no paid staff. This Democrat is running for governor with no staff — but $35M in his corner newjerseymonitor.com/2025/03/10/t...

Political observers are raising questions about the ties Sean Spiller's campaign for governor has with an outside group supporting him.

@stevenfulop.bsky.social has a stellar track record managing Jersey City, which has close to 300k residents. What he’s achieved is an economic miracle. He’s the best mayor in the northeast.

I spoke yesterday at the Save Medicaid Rally in Trenton. Amazing turnout + was proud to be the only gubernatorial candidate. I don’t think anyone wants symbolism like some elected officials in NJ provide or rhetoric - we all want actionable and clear steps:

He’s the youngest candidate running & has been in elected office for~20yrs. Life in the public eye comes w/critics & detractors. But the bigger picture tells me he’s a 3x elected, very popular mayor w/ a very high approval rating. I do believe he’s the strongest candidate running by every measure.

All I want to say that I am very thankful for @stevenfulop.bsky.social stepping up to run for governor. In these bleak times, Steven Fulop offers hope, just as much as Andy Kim did last year.

This is so good + summarizes the differences in campaigns for governor. From NJGlobe asking all candidates about Norcross dismissal. I answer a question direct…. Mikie never says anything on any issue other than she is Navy/prosecutor.. Josh defends the dismissal.. others don’t answer

What I am hearing from many Jersey Democrats:
[paraphrasing] "MAGA is a menace" | "It's totally ok to vacate a Democratic Congressional House seat for several months and put it for a special election."

The two statements are incongruous.

I would bet money on this… NJ political establishment will eventually push Gottheimer to drop out so they can coalesce Bergen/more establishment around Sherrill bc there are lots of flags in her campaign on enthusiasm gaps and momentum newjerseyglobe.com/governor/got...
Gottheimer will skip conventions with predetermined outcomes - New Jersey Globe
Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-Tenafly) won’t participate in Democratic county conventions where he thinks the outcome is preordained and will join Steve Fulop

I lived in Jersey City years ago and still visit often. Its positive trajectory has been remarkable. As mayor, @StevenFulop deserves a lot of the credit for the city’s transformation.

I believe Fulop has the commitment and proven record to win in November and excel as governor.
I don’t view it as “who is more” - each policy is different and he has been a long time friend. Truth is he will beat most at the oratory component of this which is fine as he is gifted there but I don’t think anyone beats our campaign on substance + track record and vision - nobody.
Steven Fulop was on the right side of this issue when it mattered most during last year’s senate race. He filed an amicus brief along w/ Andy Kim in Trenton. Fulop has built his entire campaign around this issue. Glad to see others finally catching on & following his lead. @stevenfulop.bsky.social
