Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning. Good fun, cool stunts, a huge amount of sprinting, but that last 30 minutes drags like crazy. Glad the series got to finish their story though.

I'm happy to announce that I've signed a new book deal with Podium Entertainment for 3 more Assembly books. The 4th Assembly book is being written at the moment (and titled The Song of the Vampire). I can also announce that I've signed another book deal with Podium for my first epic fantasy trilogy; Empire of Phantoms. Big thank you to both my agent, Paul Lucas, for working so hard to get these done, and to Podium for being awesome and wanting to continue working with me.

Novocaine with Jack Quaid is mad. 100% utterly bonkers in every way. Some of the injuries are a little grim (the arm bone one was unpleasant), but it’s such a fun film.

The Tory party continuing to tell everyone how they’re going to fix all of the problems in the UK, but never mentioning they caused them to begin with, shows a complete lack of learning from past mistakes. As per usual.

Because I still feel rubbish, I figured I’d watch a film I’ve been meaning to get around to. Heart Eyes is a slasher horror-comedy, and it’s great fun. I had zero expectations but I really enjoyed it.

I get the flu jab every year and rarely feel anything more than a bit of soreness in my arm, but this one has made me feel awful. Better than getting flu, but it still sucks.
