There's little jeopardy at this World Cup. 8 teams that finish 3rd in their groups qualify for the knockouts. Shambles. Countries will be rewarded for failure.

Brutal draw for Germany getting Equador.

Ferdinand is all over the gaff.

Shouldn't this have world cup pedigree presence. Rio bloody ferdinand. Reminds me of the time Jermaine Jenas parked up in Qatar. They've some agents these ex English pros.

Absolutely ridiculous that a football body is handing out peace prizes.

I think it would have to get significantly worse for Liverpool's ownership to act. They'll be very reluctant to sack Slot IMO. It would have to be untenable. They'll take everything into account. Even the Jota tragedy. They'll give Slot every opportunity to come through the fog.

Very rare that both United and Liverpool are equally shit.

"Far too many times this season we don't concede a lot of chances but the ones that we do go in."

When a coach is coming out with this routinely, you know you're in trouble.

Liverpool's shape first half last night. Isak and Wirtz on a fools errand pressing enormous spaces. The rest of the team has dropped off playing cowardly football. At Anfield.

This is how it's going to be until May. We'll win some, lose some, and draw some. Little consistency of performance. The team has no wingers with any pace, unpredictability, and penetration. Major, major issue. It will come down to whether fsg deem Slot good enough to get CL football.

MacAllister looks cooked.

Playing against 10 men for a large part of the game. Champions elect have to win here.

Give them the league title.

9 defeats in 13 games is a wild run of form right now.

I said at the start of the year - too much change = transition year and that tends to always be bad.

Ideally you want to phase out older players and phase in replacements over a period of 6-12 months. Robbo & Fabinho are probably perfect

Backing Slot was the right thing to do before this game, and the right thing now. We live in a world of short attention spans, zero patience and people (especially here) trying to have big opinions. But he's a title winner with best win % of any LFC boss. Bad run. Give it time.
