Commercial photographer + Artist. Based in Manchester + working everywhere — across place / architecture / lifestyle / landscape / environment + travel genres.
CLOCKWISE (the UK and Europe flexible workspace provider) were looking to bring more of a human touch to their brand photography. So that’s what I tried to do.

Fingers crossed they need photos for their continental locations soon!

These lovely streetlamps helped guide us back safely to our lovely Majorcan finca home, as we walked (stumbled) home from the local village, Santa Eugénia.

There's something calming about taking pictures in an empty cinema. I could do it all day. And I did. #manchesterphotographer

Tilt - A new piece of personal work, made at the exact time of the summer solstice) at the geographic centre of the UK. The rings of light show the 23.5 degree tilt at which the Earth spins.

The full story behind how this work came to be, can be found on my website.

Back in January we were a two dog household for a few weeks when lovely Sola came to stay. So we took her to our favourite spot - Formby Beach, where she struck this majestic pose for the photo.

Started posting without first making a proper #introduction. Hi - I'm Steve, a photographer based in Manchester and kind of excited to start building a friendly and positive new network on here. Looking to connect with other #photographers, but also like to chat about movies, trees and dogs.

I take so many photographs in a year and forget to go back and spend time with them. I post a few here and there, but there are always photographs that I really like – but don’t share. So that’s how I’m rounding out my year.

This was from a frosty walk in Somerset at the start of the year.

Starting to look back over my 2023. I took this phone snapshot back in January. Wasn’t planned in any way. Ended up being one of the photos that I’ve had the most engagement with this year. And so dragging it back out for another outing.
