I'm confused. BBC wall-to-wall coverage of Gaza.
Hamas are still there. Their aim is still to destroy Israel. The architect of Israel's grossly disproportionate response is still there. All that's changed is lots of people are dead.
But Trump says it's great, and everyone bows down to him.

I have repeatedly noticed the shortage of store-brand deodorants and antiperspirants, and the ridiculous price of branded ones. So when I see some in a shop, I buy a few. Especially as Junior can be particularly whiffy, so I just replace his used cans without him knowing.

Have to say, I haven't even noticed being in a Reform council so far. I think that's because the new councilors are completely inept, and everyone is just humouring and ignoring them, and the rest defected from the Tories to save themselves, so know what they're doing and aren't really hard Reform.

Nope. Recycling this week. My cardboard bin is overflowing, coz I bought a dining table and all the packaging is in the brown bin.
I blagged a second black bin a couple of years ago, so never any problems with that.

I worked in Ladbrokes in my teens. Even back then, shops only employed one or two full time staff, and with technology that's even fewer now - no need for board markers, checkers etc.
If the shops closed down and many became charity chops they'd employ more staff.

I like what @zackpolanski.bsky.social‬has to say on most things, but his policy on private landlords is a huge red line for me. I rent privately. I don't want to be forced to live in council-run and allocated accommodation. I want to live where I choose, in somewhere that suits me.

Bryan Adams gig on Sky Arts now, working his way through Reckless with a few extra songs. Taking me back 40 years. One of the great albums of my mid teens, kinda forgot how good it was. And he’s kept true to himself for 40 years, just great guitar rock.
