A fab tool that we loved trying today. The kids engagement with this was through the roof and they used a success criteria which we made together to select the best answer! Interactive, meaningful, educational and engaging. We will be using “Frankenstories” again! ✨

We used the website Frankenstories for the first time to improve our sentence writing by focusing on accurate punctuation, strong vocabulary, and using similes and alliteration. We wrote and voted anonymously, and we can’t wait to use this tool to support our modeled and shared writing next term!✏️

Our annual “logo” competition is underway. It’s always really hard to judge because the pupil’s work is so good! We had some collaborative ‘share and explore’ time during our meetings to explore Canva and Adobe and share what we know with each other ahead of creating our posters.⭐️✨⭐️

One of our “Accessibility Aces” worked with one of our younger learners today to continue exploring accessibility features of the IPad. We even got videoed for @connectedfalk.bsky.social 🤩 We will be getting videoed later this week with our Code Club and Micro:bits with P3 & P7 learners ✨

Massively overwhelmed today with the interest in St.FX Code Club 2025:2026. I’ll have a think about how we can keep you all involved this year. Even if it’s our more advanced P7 coders putting on sessions for beginner & middle coders. I did not anticipate such interest but it is amazing!Well done!🌟

As part of our Natural Disaster STEM topic we learned about volcanoes. We did an experiment & learned about the science behind it. P5/P6 transition ahead of the @connectedfalk.bsky.social CHURN ♻️ Idea from a P6 Digital Leader at end of term 1 after going through it herself, wanting to better equip younger peers. She spoke to classmates & they planned 2 lessons on key skills. They used ConnectedFalkirk colours to stay on brand.

Today, P6 R15 visited P5 ahead of the CHURN in Aug, when P5s get 1:1 devices! ✨P6 created & led themed sessions, teaching key skills like screenshot, split screen, markup, Notes app, AirDrop, Microsoft Word tools &more! All through 2 fun, interactive sessions! 👏🏼🍎📲
