All this ACC backstabbing really has me rethinking a lot of ACC officiating this year. Seems like the agenda was there from the start.

What sucks most about this was it was clearly happening and everyone told me I was the idiot yelling the sky was falling.

I’ve seen enough reality tv shows like Big Brother and survivor to see exactly what was happening.
This is the CFP cmte game:

-Have bama jump ND despite playing like crap and not deserving it. ND goes to 10.

-BYU loses and they move them down putting ND and Miami right next to each other in the rankings.

-Use head to head to finally screw ND and put Miami in instead.

At the press conference tomorrow, I suggest Notre Dame set the tone early. Have Pete walk out to this after his introduction. Send a message before you say anything. ☘️🏈

Fine…I’ll be the one who says it…ESPN is the Fox News of sports.

Lamo @alexkirshner.com is charmin soft. He’s out here parading ND is wrong, but you can’t call him out on his poor takes. The post below got me blocked 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Its comical how bad his takes are on all this. Worthless follow

Did we know? They had -3 rushing yards. Did you know or is that was ESPN told you to think? Don’t you think the narrative changes and the focus is on Bama’s poor performance if Miami touts ND too?
Agreed, but we all knew Bama was getting in, deservedly or not, as has always been the case regardless of the postseason format

Also, the format has already been changed for next year and ND is guaranteed a playoff spot if they finish in the top 12 of the rankings

The correct answer is the ACC should have been campaigning for Miami and ND against Alabama. If the ACC slightly tweaks their posts to demonstrate why ND should be in too, this isn’t an issue right now. Instead, they sided with Alabama and ESPN.
So the ACC should have lobbied for their part time affiliate to get in ahead of the full fledged member that beat them?

And yes, the real travesty here is Bama getting in; but there’s no greater tradition in college football than finding a way to get Bama into the championship format of the moment

This isn’t accurate at all

What’s the benefit? Miami made it in without a conference championship. Duke won and is out. I don’t see a benefit?
Maybe just join the conference next time if you want the benefits of being in the conference.

Notre Dame’s goal for next season: beat Miami, lose to two unranked 8-4 teams, don’t play in a conference championship and boom! In the playoffs!

This article is pretty bad. Think of it as an abusive relationship. ESPN beat and verbally abused Notre Dame for weeks. Instead of sticking up for themselves, the Athletic thinks Notre Dame should just accept the abuse. @chrisvannini.com has been an idiot through the entire process.
The point of playing football is to play football.

So Notre Dame's decision to opt out of playing a bowl game isn't just disappointing, but bad for the sports, @chrisvannini.com writes.

Also, if you’re an ND fan and haven’t unsubscribed to Irish Illustrated and unfollowed Tim Prister, you should do that.

My favorite argument people are trying to make for Notre Dame to play a bowl game is “what about those 15 practices?”

As a former NCAA athlete I can assure you no one will stop them from practicing. It just won’t be “organized” practice. Lots of practice will still take place.
December 7, 2025 at 11:35 PM
ESPN spent weeks creating an agenda to keep ND out. Opting out of the bowl was step one. You’re next in line, ACC

10-2 Notre Dame announces it will not accept a bowl bid after missing the playoff.

Notre Dame declining the bowl is the correct choice. If ND plays it will be their C team. If they lose it becomes “see, they aren’t good enough and never were.” If they play they just risk injury and this team always accumulates injuries.

Watch them move up the rankings despite being idle.
December 7, 2025 at 9:13 PM
Interesting. No wonder they kept them out this year
December 7, 2025 at 8:32 PM
Still hilarious the reason Miami jumped Notre Dame is because of a rewatch of the first game of the year. 12 weeks between that game and now and the committee got convinced that’s still the same ND team
December 7, 2025 at 8:08 PM
Notre Dame was favored in their rematch over A&M and would have been favored against OU. You know who isn’t favored? Miami.

This is why the committee took ND out. They were scared.

Guarantee Miami will chicken out on the ND game next year
