Monchi leaving is a shock but can completely understand it from both sides, most of our starters didn’t sign under his tenure, his signings struggle for game time, don’t know the ins and outs but on the face of it not a great job from him, also he’s faced massive constraints on who he can pursue

I’m not really sure what’s going on with Villa, it doesn’t really make much sense. Were Rashford and Asensio really that vital?

The window has been underwhelming but Elliot and Sancho (if his mentality is right) could provide that attacking spark which we currently lack

We aren’t getting Europe and if this continues we aren’t winning anything any time soon, this is the least optimistic I’ve been since our relegation season. I just don’t see the way forward

If we sell Bailey as well I’d like us to improve our defensive options, we simply cannot concede the amount we did last season if we want to return to the CL

Bit annoying yesterday, lacklustre performance and shocking refereeing, we have a lot of work to do with this squad, but it’s clear last summer was about getting depth so we didn’t get gassed, now it’s time to add more quality to it!

We seem incredibly outclassed everywhere, it’s almost like they have an extra man on the pitch, everything they do seems to stick, us nothing, we’ve done well to keep it to 2-1 so far
