It's half term, which means I have a copy of Primary Reading Simplified to give away.

Simply *repost* this post for your chance to win.

I will choose a winner at random this Saturday (22nd February).

Just finished reading ‘The Final Year’ by Matt Goodfellow to Year Six. Utter genius. The children could relate to every single bit of it.

I’ve got to say that it’s a surreal experience when one of your class arrive with a snack for you and it turns out to be pheasant. I kid you not.

Oh goodness me yes. I didn’t find much to relate to with Labour this time but I knew the Tories needed to go, Reform needed blocking at all costs (I’ve ended up with a Reform MP, who is awful) and Lib Dem’s wouldn’t be able to get enough votes.

I don’t think it is hate for everyone but my nan, as an example, openly says she hates him but 14 years of Tory mismanagement plunged her into dire poverty. Yet it is Starmer she hates for all of her problems.

Completely agree but a vast majority of that 80% didn’t vote. It’s a bit hard for them to complain when they took their chances with not having their say.

People who read the Telegraph are fed this idea every day. I’ll wait and see what time brings; that way I can be happy that I’ve given things a chance to be better, even if it doesn’t work out that way.

I disagree. He has not had long enough to spectacularly fail at anything. There are just those that can’t see a way through and never will.

80% hate Starmer because the media are telling them to. They’ve no idea why, but they do.

You are a treasure.

Not being funny but the weather is much more harsh in Scotland. I’m sure they won’t be offended with me saying they need the payment for all four seasons. Oh, and a midge spray payment too.

And that’s the thing. Having time to repeat anything these days is a miracle.

There’s overthinking and there’s this. 😳

Talking at school today about long-term memory. How do you get kids to remember more? I learned by repetition when I was a kid; it worked.

As someone who has worked 30 years in Outdoor Ed, I’m concerned hearing people say only those with ‘Forest Schools’ can lead woodland activities and light fires.

I love snow. Children love snow. Yet being in charge of 60 children out in the snow is a massive stress and none of it is fun.

One of those Fridays when you reflect that your class have behaved all week and you can’t work out what is wrong. 🤔🤔

I refused to update the app so my phone still shows the old Twitter logo. Not that it’s much use now because I deleted my account a couple of weeks ago. 😂😂

Only been here an hour and it already feels so much cleaner. Looking forward to some grown-up interactions.
