<article data-history-node-id="429958" about="https://www.middleeasteye.net/live-blog/live-blog-update/full-text-agreement-signed-israel-and-hamas-end-war-gaza" class="live-blog-update default clearfix"> <h2> <a href="https://www.middleeasteye.net/live-blog/live-blog-update/full-text-agreement-signed-israel-and-hamas-end-war-gaza" rel="bookmark"> <span class="field field-title">Full text of the agreement signed by Israel and Hamas to 'end the war' on Gaza</span> </a> </h2> <div class="content"> <div class="field field-field-text"><p>Middle East Eye has obtained a copy of the agreement signed by <a href="https://www.middleeasteye.net/countries/israel" target="_blank">Israel</a>, Hamas and the mediators in <a href="https://www.middleeasteye.net/countries/egypt" target="_blank">Egypt</a> to end the <a href="https://www.middleeasteye.net/topics/israel-genocide-gaza" target="_blank">genocide in Gaza</a>.</p> <p>The document, which includes the signatures of several mediators, including US envoy Steve Witkoff, is titled the "Implementation Steps for President Trump's proposal for a 'Comprehensive End of Gaza War'."</p> <p>It details six stages to the deal, beginning with US President Donald Trump's announcement that the war in Gaza has ended and that "the parties have agreed to implement the necessary steps to that end."</p> <p>The second step states that "the war will immediately end upon the approval of the Israeli government."
