The weather becomes more friendly in Amsterdam, So a tour among the "Stolpersteiners" will continue soon again - Some stones were kept shiny by the residents: Good work! ..

These Stolpersteine were polished on the way, at Haarlemmerdijk, recently placed, I guess. I used to live in this area and I never noticed them - just some Months ago..

The stones in the sidewalk
aren't always clear to spot and even on Google Maps it was hard
to find them, for sure you'll see them in front of an entrance, a door, small stairs to a door etc.

This Stolpersteine I polished started a conversation with another resident that lives in the building where the stone was placed, we talked about polishing the stone, as he asked if I had to polish them all - It made him think to keep the stone "neat and shiny" himself.

Next on my way was this "Stolpersteine" I found it was the only one in "Langestraat"

A woman was reading a book outside in the sun..after I finished the polishing she gave me "thumbs up" It felt much appreciated.

Since living on the "Canal Belt of Amsterdam" This was the first stone on my way to polish, hopefully many more to polish in the near future around this area.

Like this brave person from the resistance, there is an annual lecture named after him
