all akiras are The Yearners to me but aquila had it like 300% worse. ponytail-san's death + homesickness just completely fucked him up but he can't show it and also if he let it get to him too much ponytail-san would smack him in the head for losing sight of what needed to be done

i like to think that flynn inherited ponytail-san's traits like a horse and one of the traits is being awful at directions. the tokyo map isn't actually complicated flynn just doesn't know where the fuck he's going 80% of the time
