All of a sudden, I can't stand cheese. Like, it's too rich in my mouth. Once, I was allergic to tomatoes and after several years was able to eat them again, maybe the same thing will happen here. 😓

I realized recently that Ezlo is a part of my lore. In the antique circle, we all know what each other collects and I always have to explain why I'm the bird/parakeet lady. You can't know me without knowing about Ezlo. She will only truly die with me.

'Tis the season when accounts/reps/etc start sending goodies to the office. Currently, we have 4 boxes of brownies, a box of donuts, and handmade chips and carolina reaper salsa which is really good and I might steal it.

I actually looked at the calendar and realized I get no days off until I leave for my mom's house on the 20th. My friend wanted to do the drive thru light show again and I'm like 🥺 Tbf, I scheduled my life like this SO I could have Christmas week with the family.

Other antique store happenings I didn't get on video. Smokey let me pet him for a good few minutes but he gets a little overwhelmed with lovings. I offered my hand to him again and he smacked it. So at least we're communicating.

I've been seeing my therapist since 2012 and we have mutually decided to discuss an end of treatment plan. I didn't realize that I would spend 13 years trying to learn how to individuate myself from my mother, but honestly I've done it and life feels pretty good. I'm ready to be free.

So Vegas is doing cyber deals and I just booked us a stay at the Flamingo for my brother's 40th in April. I haven't been to Vegas in at least a decade. We're gonna do Omega Mart, I'm gonna get high as shit before getting lost in there.

Been trying to schedule car maintenance for like 4 hours. I need a water pump/belts replaced and it's been 3 phone calls going back and forth about pricing, ordering, scheduling. One more phone call and I might have a service date. 😵💫

Yesterday I got in bed around 5pm, dozed through like 10 American Dad episodes, had a brief moment of awakeness at 8:30, down again by 9, awake by my alarm at 7.
I wish my mania coincided with all these fucking winter holidays.
