👉 In total, 227 researchers, clinicians, and psychologists from 19 countries attended the Congress.

The top countries of origin were:
🇩🇪 Germany
🇨🇭 Switzerland
🇦🇹 Austria
…followed closely, however, by 🇨🇿 the Czech Republic.

Our new COVID EMA lockdown paper is out! We found signs of hypocortisolism—low cortisol levels indicating a dysregulated stress system—in the general population during the COVID-19 lockdowns. Prolonged stress, loneliness, and fatigue may have contributed to this vulnerability.
New paper on fatigue, hair cortisol and stress during COVID-19 lockdowns. 💡📜

We found signs of hypocortisolism during the COVID-19 lockdowns in the general population.

Risk factors for fatigue were young age, chronic stress, low income, and loneliness.
