5 euros for godot is insane value, these cyber monday deals are getting out of hand 🤯

Today I built this divider for my van, usually I of course only do digital work but I also love to work with my hands. It's a super nice side-project away from the computer!

http for one-off commands from tauri to apps. realtime godot to blender is just raw udp because websockets would need a library in blender

Up until now I would just work on whatever I felt like, but it's stressing me out juggling a few projects at once. So next week I'm going to try a schedule;

MON/TUE: Work on MakeRoom updates
WED/THU: Work on game assets
FRI: Other high-priority/business stuff
Weekend (optional): Experiments & fun

Oh yeah I already used Trello (now switched to Obsidian so it's offline instead of a web app), it helps me a lot but still whenever I work on X I feel guilty for not working on Y

yeah. recompiling one-file change with caches is 3 seconds with ninja vs 12 seconds with scons on my machine

I'm using blender as a level editor, having synced cameras may come in handy for the ease of navigation. but this will also allow me to sync selections, object properties and anything else really

made a fun little godot-blender viewport camera sync miniapp

no addons on either side, no build steps, just a single js module file that's loaded in tauri that has code in all 6 languages (html, css, js, python, gdscript, bash)

playing with tauri, made a thing that watches godot source code and recompiles/restarts the editor automatically

the godot recompiler miniapp runs inside of a host app and doesn't need any building, it's just a plain js module. and the host app itself is this:
what if I made a code runner app that reads scripts from a folder on disk and lets them draw their own simple guis inside of the runner app for one-stop os level tooling, daemons, task automation, etc? I cant find anything like that and I would love it for rpc workflows. could make it in godot

• Halo Mega Bloks
• Unity exporting in Dreams
• Dungeon Keeper 3

What's yours?
