Another post f/x fragment, this time from "Wink Of An Eye". The Bell and Howell sprockets indicate that this is original effects house footage of the optical tilt, which was then matted into a viewscreen during post production.

A fragment of post f/x footage from "The Alternative Factor", as it would have been received from the effects house.

Bill McGovern slates an engineering scene for "The Immunity Syndrome".

Possible evidence that an editor was covering both his a** and Mr. Shatner's during post-production for "That Which Survives". Modesty was not preserved, as the "Wardrobe Malfunction" made it into the final cut. Editor's job security?...unknown.

Slate from Monday October 9th, 1967. The first shooting day for "Obsession". In my top 5, if not top 3.

To celebrate Star Trek Day, a fragment of the first-run preview for "Operation Annihilate". Happy 59th! xoxoxoxo

Reel header from the Anderson Company F/X house (complete with p.o. number) for "The Ultimate Computer". Conjecture leads me to think this was from the completed "M-5 Energy transfer kills Engineering staff" sequence.

Daily from "The Cloud Minders".

Slating a sickbay scene for "The Conscience Of The King", from a recently acquired set of "Time Capsule" packets.

You're quite welcome!

Extra points if you spotted the stagehand having coffee in the scaffolding.

This pre-matte footage from "Menagerie" allows us a good look at the corner of Soundstage 10, a.k.a. the "Planet Set". If you look closely, the actress' starting mark can be seen below her feet.

"Empath" slate Part 2. "Fuller's Earth", a loose material blown into scenes in several episodes, had a habit of getting onto actor's eyes.

Thanks, Peter. The storm has passed. Working on a large lot of new clip acquisitions is helping the grieving process. Teaser: the lot the "Empath" slate came from is a 47 year old time capsule, clips were still in the original glassine packets, which were stapled together.

This one is for Peter W. Have just come through one hell of a personal ion storm. Watermark will return.

Bill McGovern dodges out of frame after slating a take for "The Paradise Syndrome".

A comparison between an original NBC promo photo and one of the countless reprints, in circulation since the very early 1970's.

Original period NBC mailer from the network's New York office. The only one of these I've seen in 16 years of collecting. Wrong size for promo photos, but some TOS press materials could have gone out in these. Tentatively dated to 1969, the end of original run and beginning of syndication.

Watermark on hiatus due to family emergency-hope to be back in a few weeks.

Not particularly rare, but a nice look at the overhead lighting for "Errand Of Mercy".

Shooting Scene 55C for "Immunity Syndrome".

I appreciate your understanding, Dude.
