Poverty plays a central role in mass incarceration. The system punishes poverty โ and actually exacerbates it.

Crackdown had a very good episode about many of these issues in BC housing. It seems that these issues are very common, but as usual the people in power are not really listening to people who need these services. Very frustrating!
