I'm thankful to be employed rn and all the benefits that come with it but I really, truly wish I could spend way more time on art. Even when I'm not working, the fatigue I've been experiencing from it lately has been slowing me down and taking me out of the mood.

I'd be a lot happier if my sketch/monochrome/black and white work felt like it stood alone and wasn't just the "next step" before adding color. I don't really like feeling as though without that the piece is incomplete; it's just another way to present artwork.
