I listen to Progressive metal so infrequently that I lowkey forget I'm not a fan and it's not my vibe. But this has some great moments and I'm glad I gave it more of a chance. Definitely gets better for me in the second half, not a fan of all the breakdown stuff in the first

I listen to Progressive metal so infrequently that I lowkey forget I'm not a fan and it's not my vibe. But this has some great moments and I'm glad I gave it more of a chance. Definitely gets better for me in the second half, not a fan of all the breakdown stuff in the first

I also think our country has a lot of work to do regarding the perception of individuals with substance use disorder. Entering the public health field has fucking rocked me to see so many people regard individuals with SUD as less than human.

I'm always in a weird headspace when our country finally has large-scale protests because we should be this level of outraged at all times. Our police forces spend millions of dollars on PR to ensure that specific stories are covered to make them not look like incapable monsters.
