They do all look like the absolute personification of 'glum'.

Nigel Slater recommended a fig and apple crumble, I tried it using figs from M&S and it was pretty good!

Really enjoying the talks this afternoon at the @pictishartssociety.bsky.social conference!

Re the invisible charcoal industry, I'm wondering if some, at least, of their cooking was done using charcoal - this would just increase the need for a managed charcoal industry . . .

Can people also touch this - I'm thinking that would be another way for folks to interact with the model. You could have different textures for existing and hypothesised (?) walls/spaces, include braille labels, all sorts of ideas. . .

So a train ticket from 1996 I’ve found in my second hand copy of Women’s Work: the first 20,000 years. I’d like to think it belonged to the person who’d bought the book when it was newly published and hope they enjoyed it and found it interesting.
An open book has a train ticket balanced on it. The ticket was for a journey from St Pancras to Sheffield on the 14th March 1996.
I like to think that it belonged to the person who brought the book new and was reading it on their journey.

You might want to get a clear idea of how easily they fill the mag - will you be spending lots of time trying to get people to write for it, do they have a pool of articles ready to 'go', etc.
I know this can be an issue for one plant group I'm familiar with.

Absolutely this!!!
And I'd add, just because a feature exists in the software does NOT mean you have to use it, I'm looking at people whose slides fade in from all angles . . .
