He is out of touch by choice. He can choose to pay close attention to the details of the operations of his Formula 1 team if he’ d like. Instead Elkann hides behind the curtains only to appear when the opportunity to place blame in the media serves him best. But the Chairman should be seen not heard
In a season where the team has done its best to protect itself from the narrative-hungry media, using the press to drive a wedge between the team and its drivers makes John Elkann look like the out-of-touch billionaire he is.

Update- They are both pathetic. But Norris is still slightly more pathetic.
McLaren are wrong to believe that Norris is their best driver. #Formula1

Ferrari fan mentality;”:

- want the entire team to be changed after 2022 (Fred is hired and proceeds to clean house)

- unnecessarily hype up each car and get mad a rebuilding team that has brand new people is not winning the championship by a landslide at the end of a reg era

F1 broadcasts are bad at their jobs.

They don't provide relevant information to fans during broadcasts and spread conspiracy theories instead of looking at data.

Today's commentary surrounding Ferrari is a clear example, and it's become a theme that leads to doomerism.

Substack:
The Media are Culprits in Ferrari Doomerism
Ferrari brings the talk with good and bad performance, but the media are complicit in driving negativity and irresponsible narratives that feed doomerism in online spaces.

Looks like best case this weekend is a Leclerc podium. McLaren will run away with another easy win unless there is a miracle. #BritishGP

Just 1 more point. He is very likely getting a race ban this season.🤣🤣
How many penalty points more until Max gets a race ban???

Leclerc P3 in a car and team which was otherwise getting beat by Hulkenberg in a Sauber. Legendary drive.

Well at least some people still have faith or hope left in this team...
The SF-25 is not where anyone wants it to be, but remember where this team was prior to Fred Vasseur joining. Listen to Charles Leclerc when he says it's been a long time since he's felt this at ease with a car.

Stability is key in a rebuild, which is what Ferrari are enduring now.

New from me :)
The Need for Stability in Ferrari
Trying to find a scapegoat for Ferrari’s issues won’t make them progress faster.

He will regret sticking with this useless team. For last 1 yr they have been running on vibes that signing Hamilton will fix everything. Before that the narrative was that Fred will fix everything. They remain as terrible as ever.
What do you think of Charles' start to the season?🤔

Ran his mouth too much compared to the actual potential he had. Hard to say anyone else has fallen so spectacularly in just 4 races.
Liam Lawson received a total of 15 (5+10) second time penalties and 3 penalty points after colliding with two different drivers during the #BahrainGP!

Both penalties were applied post race, classifying him at P16.

The performance level of Lando Norris is what you get when you have not much talent and refuse to put in the hard work and are quick to find excuses for your failures and refuse to learn any lessons.

It feels like it should be a bigger story that S&P Global is considering downgrading SoftBank's credit rating due to their investment in OpenAI, saying that their "financial condition will likely deteriorate" as a result of their investment.
