Another update. It's looking hopeful that Zuko will recover enough to keep going for a while. It'll just take a long time and a lot of work/medication.

That being said...his new total for bills is over $7,200...and my car literally just broke as I was pulling onto my street.

So idk what to do.

The door cracked open enough for just her head to pop out. “Oh! Would you mind putting the mochi in the fridge? Thanks!” The door locked with a click.

A faint buzzing sound echoed down the hall shortly after, followed by light moaning.

Katsuki's stomach plummeted to sea level. His plan failed! His tactics didn't work! Now all he was left with was the smell of her body wash lingering in the air and a semi.

He shuffled to the living room and gathered a blanket and the various throw pillows to form his bed on the couch. Grumbling.

He mouthed at her throat until she stood from her chair. Fully expecting her to start leading him to the bedroom, rather than stand silently with a devilish grin formed on her face.

“Goodnight.” Ochako said with finality. She marched down the hall and shut the bedroom door.

He watched as she squirmed in her seat. He took that as permission to kiss along her shoulder, tongue teasing up her jugular.

He pictured her laying on her stomach as he slid his hands over her bare back, working her muscles and softening her knots. He'd use some of that oil she'd bought that smells like chocolate. Lathering her in it, and leaving her shiny and slippery under his fingertips.

Quickly gathering himself he thought of a plan. She just needed a little persuading.

“Yeah? That's fine,” he slid behind her chair and gave her shoulders a small squeeze, “doesn't mean you can't get a massage.”

Finally, she peeked an eye open, meeting his stare, and nodded.

A sigh of relief melted through his whole body. Fucking finally. He couldn’t wait to-

Those words held the weight of an entire skyscraper. He almost fell to his knees in despair.

She took the box from his hands and flicked it open, peering inside to inspect the sweet treats. She raised one and gave a sniff, weighed it in her palm, and took a bite. A moment passed where she closed her eyes and chewed slowly. Savouring the flavour.
