1st good deed of the year in the books! We had a patron lose their cell phone and a couple of hours later she frantically asked if we had it. The panic turned to joy when she was reunited with her device!

Pro tip: If you ever need a moment of calm in your life, ask a librarian, we can usually help!

He sprang to his courier van, to his team gave a whistle, and away they all drove like the down of a thistle.

But I heard him exclaim, when he drove out of sight,
"Happy Reading to all, and to all a Good Night!"

He waived all the fines with a wink of his eye and stacked up the CD books up to the sky. He checked out a classic, gave a nod of his head, "Keep warm in the mountains!" is just what he said.

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work, He sorted the carts with a smile and a twerk. He filled up displays with wintery reads, fulfilling the Summit community’s needs.

His eyes—how they twinkled! His glasses—how merry! His cheeks are like a bookmark; his nose is like a cherry! He held up a card that he gripped in his hand, The most powerful pass in all of the land.

He was dressed all in wool, from his head to his foot, and his clothes were all covered in toner and soot. A bundle of bestsellers flung on his back; He looked like a courier opening his pack.

So up to the entrance the Bookmobile flew, With a sleigh full of stories, and hotspots too. And then, with a thud that made the glass yearn, He slid right on through the outside book return.

"Now, Fiction! Now, Non-Fic! Now, Sci-Fi and Thriller! On, Mystery! On, Romance! And True Crime (the killer)! From the South Branch in Breck to the Silverthorne door, now dash away! Dash away! Read evermore!"

With a driver so literate, lively, and quick, I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick. More rapidly than Frisco Wi-Fi, they came, and he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name:

The moon on the eve of the new-fallen snow gave the luster of midday to Frisco below. When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a giant Bookmobile courier, shifting into high gear!
