Well, I have discovered a slight issue with the post drafting system. I accidentally put a post I was writing and decided against in drafts instead of deleting. No way to delete the draft that I could find? Which is why I backspaced what I wrote before and now I'm posting this instead lol

My Kalma has been diagnosed with breast cancer. The good news is she is in good health it may be low grade, meaning surgery will drastically improve life expectancy. The bad is it normally costs around $6000 and is time sensitive- things I just do not have.

So like. I sort of thought it would be easy to find a 28" stool that didn't cost an arm and a leg but apparently not! Even the folding stools are like $60??? I do not need a quality item. I need something fast. Alas

Secondhand book stores are so dangerous... This one has the entirety of a series I like, including the one the library doesn't have. I'm sooooo tempted but I'll be good and only buy the one I haven't read yet...

Before I move on to earrings, one thing that isn't handmade but *is* my design! I have quite a few of these paired hawk skull pins, inspired by harris hawk skulls. $18 per pair (they do come with a removable chain but it's slightly shorter than the one pictured here!)

Haha work got cancelled due to the snow... There's still a chance of work on Thursday (maybe...) but I really need to figure out a different or second job that's more reliable

I know everything is horribly dangerous and awful right now but regular Americans actively loving their neighbors is so beautiful and spiritually fulfilling to see and participate in.

The crafting group I just started going to is cancelled today due to the weather. I'd been saving the duck embroidery to work on there but while it's still light enough out to see well, perhaps I will work on it at home...
