I can't think of any better way to announce this, but I now have a Patreon page. Kando said I should open one, so I figured why not.

Almost forgot to mention that the 3D crosshair from Star Fox EX was also added, lol. (3/2)

Rumble has been added and is fully working, a new font for dialogue (by Joshua Schaeferhund) (and a new dialogue box have been added (as you can see in the video), and lots of other cool things for stage 1-1 that I'm not ready to show yet. Things are happening, just slowly! (2/2)

SFCD update! (shocking, I know)
Added pause music using the MSU-1 revision 2 resume spec! I actually had to modify Mesen for this as it doesn't support this feature unlike other commonly used SNES emulators and FXPak Pro/SD2SNES.
Other things have happened too...

New Release!
Rumble pad support for the SNES version of PETSCII Robots!
romhackplaza.org/romhacks/att...
This was a fun exercise in reverse engineering and disassembly after not doing any ROMhacking in a while. I've never made a hack without source code/a good disassembly before this one.
Attack of The PETSCII Robots - Rumble Support (SNES) Romhack - RomHack Plaza
This patch adds SNES Rumble Pad support to the Super NES version of Attack of the PETSCII Robots by David Murray (The 8-Bit Guy) et al.

I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Bleem & Doom SNES creator Randy Linden. It was a blast talking with him and I think most retro enthusiasts would enjoy listening - Just search any app for "RetroRGB Randy", or check out the main link here: www.retrorgb.com/interview-wi...

Just rolled out yet another bugfix for Shindou Edition and all other rumble enabled Star Fox patches.
v1.2 fixes extreme instability on Kando's SNES (yes, really, v1.1 worked fine on my console)
Thanks to Kando for figuring it out and sending me the fix! rhpz.org/27460

Just rolled out a bugfix for Shindou Edition and all other rumble enabled Star Fox patches.
In Shindou v1.0, if if you pressed start at just the right time in the intro, the Attack Carrier’s rumble sequence would continue past the intro.

I've made a new website to replace my old Carrd page:
sunlitspace542.github.io
This will be where I host information on my works, among other things such as (possibly) a blog.

A little write-up about SNES rumble and Star Fox Shindou Edition (public):

Like Kando, I will also be posting the patch for the latest Shindou beta for paid members.
Reminder that you can support my work for as little as $3/month!

You can see (or rather, hear) Star Fox Shindou Edition towards the end of this video!
I hope to release it soon, I'd say it's already 50-75% complete now. I'm just adding the small details and adjusting things, the real controller is much stronger than Mesen emulates it, lol.

Additional thanks to Randy for helping with getting rumble to work on hardware, and to Kando for figuring out how to get sequenced rumbles working!

HUGE thanks to @randallinden.bsky.social and @limitedrungames.com for sending me a SNES rumble pad prototype!
It's honestly the best 3rd party controller I've used, I think it'll be my main one from now on.
SFCD now supports rumble, expect a patch for the original Star Fox soon!

New Patreon Post (Public)
I will be using this site to post detailed project updates as I see fit from now on, I don't have to worry about the character limit like I do here or on Twitter.

Star Fox EX 1.11.02b is out on ROMHack Plaza!
Just a quick hotfix patch that keeps the RNG routine working after a game over.

I figured out how to stream data from the MSU-1 data file and added the code for it to my MSU-1 driver source on GitHub: github.com/Sunlitspace5...
Still deciding on whether to use this feature in SFCD, but decided to implement it anyway, some people may find this code useful.

Star Fox CD Update!
Wrote my first PATH language enemy, the Killer Bee from Star Fox 64!
I did use PATH to script the intro, but this is the first object I've programmed in this language that can be interacted with in-game without any crashes.
