This is why I scream awareness as much as if not more than “”research””. You can find a lot of real resources, but that doesn’t mean a ton if you’re ignoring those peoples’ culture and voices around it.

Actual respect and “I learned about it” look visibly different.

(guy who said he was done but needed to say one more thing) as meaningful as "do your research" might be, I think it bears repeating (again) that most "research" you will find of indigenous cultures was produced by settlers and proliferated without expressed permission. closed cultures are real.
