When Thune & his peers rolled over & allowed broad impoundments that HURT people, it removed any trust b/w parties.

The issue: Wall St.’s demand for ever growing profits as a % of revenue creates pressure to reduce costs while increasing rev. The target is usually wages.
If the Street rewarded growing profits by volume, via revenues, wages could grow.
