Sunday’s wings flared out and he stumbled over his words, “Pr-preposterous. What would even make you consider such a thing, here, in public?”

“Public?” Aventurine looked around the cozy room. It was one of the VIP areas in the Penacony Grand Theatre. Thick curtains closed the room off from both the theatre’s stage, and the hall where people were bustling to and fro before the show. “Seems pretty private to me.”
