Im visually impaired and still not putting alt text on most of my posts. Having to think of what to write alongside art is already a hassle, having to also come up with alt text just kills my drive to post at all.

So without the alt text it goes. If only it could be added later.

When getting a feeling that you want something new and shiny, please consider cleaning and caring for your still working electronics/things. It gives you a better attachement/appreciation to the tool, and a chance to learn.

I cleaned my rice cooker too and am so much happier using it now! :>

Disassembled and washed the plastic casings and keycaps of my old G502 mouse and G610 keyboard last weekend.

These two are well over 7 years old and still working perfectly. Cleaning them thoroughly gives me the feeling of having renewed them and im looking to use em for many more years!

I've been seeing a lot of pixel artists struggle with Bluesky's image compression, so I'd thought I'd share how to get clear, crisp pixels on the site!

When uploading to Bluesky, remember to resize your works to 800%!

Why? Images are converted to .jpeg when uploaded. .jpeg compresses the image into 8x8 pixel blocks.

If a block has more than one colour, that dreaded compression occurs!

It's alright to not post about going live? I need that freedom.

I need it automated to be a thing, but don't know how.

I had to get me oil colors. This is interesting 👀 havent done anything with paints like these in aaaaaages.
(They're water soluble, so i dont have to deal with turpentine🙏)
