PhD student @AndreFerdigg and colleagues report in @LSAjournal on #SLC transporters in metal toxicity. MRP1/ABCC1 protects against arsenic and mercury; SLC39A14 and SLC30A1 sensitize for cadmium; interestingly SLC30A1 modulates cadmium toxicity through zinc levels doi.org/10.26508/lsa...
