Did you know SurrealQL has functions to check whether a string matches a certain format, like a valid email? You can also use them in schema definitions to prevent the acceptance of invalid values.

As with traditional SQL queries, a SELECT statement query in SurrealQL supports conditional filtering using a WHERE clause. In this example, the WHERE clause filters based on graph edges.
