#WhatWentWell: 1. Dropping our dog off for a procedure this morning. Her name was on the welcome board. 2. She had a lump under each “armpit.” Both were non-cancerous lipomas. One was removed, the other was too deep and too big. 3. Tonight’s dinner: Linguini with meatballs and homemade sauce.
#WhatWentWell: 1. Prepping our dog for what we hope will be a minor surgery - removal of a small mass to be biopsied. She’s getting very drowsy. 2. At least 6 new students in our Tai Chi class. 3. On our morning walk n play, Cookie stole another dog’s ball. She has been playing with all day.
I read that and almost choked on my tea.
#WhatWentWell: 1. Tonight’s dinner: broiled lamb chops with Asian-inspired kale slaw. 2. Volunteering with the Reading Brigade at a local high school. 3. I practiced yoga and walked 4 1/2 miles today.
For dinner last night - breakfast! Baby Dutch Boy. Topped my slice with Greek yogurt, poached pears, blueberries, a drizzle of maple syrup and a dusting of cinnamon. The Rose and Fern Pinot Gris was perfect. #Foodsky

Billionaire tax cuts are a policy choice.

Cutting healthcare for millions is a policy choice.

Cutting food assistance for children is a policy choice.

Taking from the poor and giving to the rich is a policy choice.

Make no mistake: Trump and the GOP just chose to do this.

We’re good here in our personal world. It’s just the world around us. And hoo-boy! How are you?
And THAT is exactly what Hegseth and Trump want. Actually, it’s what every member of their administration wants.
If they are allowed to succeed, America will ultimately be “healthier”because the sick, disabled and aged among us will have died premature deaths. The mass grieving will cause a spike in mental illness. It’s not a good deal for anyone.
This is so disturbingly wrong. He thinks he’s making America healthy again by culling our children and babies.
