They should qualify for EI. I would suggest the biggest issue is that the market for dimensional lumber is ltd and the best option would be to diversify products. Only Canada, Australia and US frame houses with wood, as far as I know.

He had no other place to go and his younger siblings are in therapy to deal with the idea of their mom's killer living in their home.

Despite court hearing a convicted teen killer was abused by his father, that is where he will go after being released.
The teen killed his mom when he was 13. She was pregnant and overdue, he wanted to live with his dad.
They were to sign divorce papers the next day.
