Today is February 15. On this day in 1879, President Rutherford Hayes signed a new law that would admit women as members of the Supreme Court bar & allow them to submit/argue cases. Thank suffragette Belva Lockwood for her efforts in this uphill battle.

Well, those of us who live in Michigan and go to Ontario occasionally DO want that new bridge... the tunnel and bridge to Windsor is just traffic jammed way too often. If something shuts that crossing down, about 80% of Canada/US trade shuts down. Now we can just hit Sarnia instead.

6.4 billion dollars up front by Canada and the ownership is shared with Michigan even though they paid nothing up front. Trump is an idiot, but if this bridge doesnt open on time, it will be a long time before Canadian tax payer dollars is used to improve American infrastructure! Be careful US!
