I've started collecting DVD's again (anyone else loving physical media right now?) and I've found a lot of my favorite TV shows to rewatch are procedurals!

So I've compiled a list of all my favorites on my blog:

I watched You've Got Mail for the first time today and instead of the cosy fall romcom I was promised, I got a heartbreaking tale of a woman losing her dead mothers bookstore to a soulless bigstore chain AND ENDING UP TOGETHER WITH THE CREEPY LOSER WHO OWNS SAID CHAIN??
Just finished the show Ludwig and the fall vibes were truly off the charts!🍂 Also, lovely to see Gerran Howell while I eagerly await the second season of The Pitt!

I added the show to my all time favorite shows to watch during the autumn season: suzannerecommendsthings.blogspot.com/2023/09/tv-s...
It's raining outside, I have a candle lit, my nails are painted in a beautiful fall green, I am listening to my favorite Gilmore Girls podcast and I'm about to get the fall decor out.

What a time to be alive.

I mostly listen to limited podcast series and the CBC is one of the best on that front! Come by Chance was a beautiful one about babies being swapped after birth. Missing and Murdered: Finding Cleo is also a very important story (if you can stomach true crime!).
Are you an avid binge-watcher like me and are you looking for a satisfying show to finish in a single weekend? I got you in my new blogpost with 11 of my favorite mini-series and short tv shows!

What other short shows should I check out?

Short TV Shows and Mini-Series to Binge-Watch in a Single Weekend
As an introvert, one of my favorite ways to relax on the weekend is binge watching a show. Sometimes chores are easier to do when there's an...

Awh my pleasure! Glad to hear it!🙌
That's awesome. Just gave the trailer a listen and it sounds good! Excited to listen to it!
That ones been on my list for a while! Which season is your favorite? I tried the Vanilla Ice season and that was definitely not for me, but I'd like to give it another go with a different season/host!
You might enjoy Do Go On! I started with the true crime topics and while they're still my favorite, I've made my way through their whole catalogue now and enjoyed it all!
Have you listened to Wind of Change? It investigates the conspiracy theory that the CIA wrote the hitsong Wind of Change to influence the cold war. It's a bit of a silly premise but I enjoyed hearing all the historic/political context that fueled the conspiracy!
I'm a big fan of the podcast!! I just realised I saw your work in a trailer for the pod on YouTube a while back! All awesome visuals, very fitting for the vibe of the podcast!
My favorite podcasts are serial, investigative stories that aren't about murder. I keep a list (which I update regularly!) of my favorite ones on my blog for anyone who is interested! Think cults, mysteries, history, scams and frauds!

Limited Investigative Podcasts (No Murders)
I'm a big fan of true crime podcasts. I get into a story and listen to a whole season within a day. Interesting cases, interesting interview...

The Missing Madonna is great! (About a dad trying to find and return a stolen painting, host is his daughter trying to piece together what happend). Also recently enjoyed Split Screen: Thrill Seekers!(About a reality TV show where people were tricked into thinking they were in space and its impact).
It is SO good! Gold standard of true crime podcasting in my opinion, together with Your Own Backyard.
I literally bought waterproof earphones just so I can listen to the same thing before, during and after the shower. It feels silly to buy special tech just to be able to shower but it made SUCH a difference.
Ahh you're in for a great ride with both of them!! What I would give to listen to those for the first time again 🤭 I'll drop one more recommendation: The Dropout, it's about the Theranos scam. Just as jawdropping as a murder case! I hope you'll find some podcasts to fight your boredom!!
Dear Hank and John is my go to for positive chatter! Two brothers answer both serious and silly questions about life. I also like Articles of Interest about the history of different types of clothing! Ologies with Alie Ward is also great if you want something educational yet cosy.
Any particular ones you've enjoyed in the past? Your Own Backyard and Bear brook are the golden standard in my opinion. I also recently finished Who Killed Emma? which was a crazy story!
