Still, overall I want to say it’s a pretty solid entry.

Very macabre, creepy, and unsettling, in a new way.

it’s a different kind of horror/experience from traditional silent hill games, so I guess trying new things is good.

Now excuse me as I start new game+

The events of the game don’t seem literal, instead they seem to symbolize Hinako’s inner struggles, is all I really understood. I, I just don’t know. I don’t get the story.

And that ending, is, uh, I’ll just say that my reaction was “that’s it???”

(Granted, I’m yet to see the other endings)

So the story is… very, confusing. Like, I just kept saying “what the fuck is happening” during my playthrough, kind of artsy in a way, i suppose

Maybe I just lack the literacy to decipher the story, since I don’t watch a lot of films or read a lot of books, but I WAS expecting SOME coherency…

(minus that one enemy that’s on all fours, not the one that can’t see but the one that licks you, it can go fuck itself sideways)

Honestly all that is secondary to the story, I mean story is like the most important part of SH series

Just finished Silent Hill F and it was… ok?

The game is pretty combat heavy and overengineered as I worried, and the extremely jarring hitstop effect is still there, but it honestly didn’t bother me that much

the combat experience itself is fine, frustrating at times but still, not bad
