If SCOTUS says the tariffs are illegal, they can’t be given back. Walmart may have paid $25 more per TV and want that back, but they already charged me $25 more for that TV and I want that back too.

Easy solution to the shutdown: Make the ACA subsidy a state-by-state thing each state must pass. It will not pas in red states and the GOP gets what they want, and it will pass in blue states and the Dems get what they want. Every GOP state will have to actively choose to not fund healthcare.

Went to Shoney’s today, because when your wife with cancer wants comfort food… Almost all the customers were 70+. And several old, shriveled, dottering customers got into very nice sports cars.

If one network news went hard against the Trump admin they would rule the ratings. And as Trump went after them it would increase their views. It’s ripe for a network to attack.

It’s weird that every other price is up and not much matters. If gas goes up, it’s headline news. I guess because it’s a price we see in big signs everywhere every day. His OPEC friends will work to protect him from that problem.

Terrifying to read stories about the highest mortgage & auto loan default rates in decades, & the inflation rising & unemployment escalating, which should all be a crisis, but the Trump admin is telling us it is the best economy ever.
