once i was talking to a coworker about anxiety and i mentioned one of these handouts, so i shared my therapy handouts with her because she was like "i've been seeing my therapist for years and she's given me ZERO HANDOUTS" so i had to share the wealth.

Aside from the ick factor of turning a job application into A CONTEST, it's also setting people up for a very weird relationship with their jobs that will suck for them as employers down the line. It is cool to be a fan of the stuff you work on but it is still *a job*
