According to cagematch, Bandido vs Hechicero from Death Before Dishonor last night is now the 8th highest rated match in ROH history. And you know what. It damn well deserves its place. What an incredible match.
I went to see Febuary this evening. I was older than everyone in the crowd by at the very least 25 years. It was weird and awesome. I didn’t know a single person there but seeing this young crowd lose their goddamn minds over this four band bill reminds me why I will never stop loving hardcore.
At this exact time 14 years ago I was watching Night Birds play the parking lot of a convenience store in Richmond Virginia. 30 minutes later I would see a body pulled out of the James River while riding on a school bus crammed with punks while “the wheels on the bus go round and round” was on loop
Watching a guy wrestle his first match and his entire family showed up and they are losing their goddamn minds like this dark match was the main event of wrestlemania. I truly love this.
