I'm 20 minus into "I Saw The Devil" and my heart is POUNDING. I watch a lot of thriller and horror movies but I dont think any one of them has made my heart rare skyrocket and my chest tighten like this. Idk what it is, the cinematography the music the actors...

Reading Blood Meridian:
One thing I'm noticing about the book so far is the sheer bleakness of it all. Not just the land is described as bleak; but the way it's described, the way they talk, the word choice, the way the sentences seem so.... exhausted. (1/3)
