my work with immigrants has introduced me to some of the most brilliant, exceptional, and kind people I've ever met. they deserve the world, and the hate towards them breaks my heart and boils my blood. anti-immigrant racism is as unreasonable as it is repugnant.

the last week was an insane rollercoaster. I rode 66 miles (on 4 hours of sleep) on saturday to fundraise for oakland schools, then learned that we lost 6 staffmembers to d*ge bullshit on sunday, then narrowly averted a one day strike the same thursday we tentatively brought those staffmembers back
