I caught up with St. Thomas commit Casey Vandertop yesterday and wrote this feature. He won a state title at Edina as a sophomore and led the Hornets in scoring last year as a junior. Now, he's playing full-time in the USHL in 2025-26.

St. Cloud State with a nice 5-0 win over Lindenwood in the season opener. Shots on goal were 43-18.

Really liked what I saw from SCSU. Wasn't sure what to expect with so many new players on the roster but they looked much more offensively minded than they have in the past

Bemidji State incoming transfer Ava Hills has had to overcome plenty in her career so far.

After undergoing a routine EKG as a freshman at UNH, she was diagnosed with a rare heart condition. Now, two surgeries and a few years later, she's ready for a great year ahead.
