Last May (April?) I got to see actual pink in person in the sky with my naked eye and I felt so lucky. (It still didn't look like this but that's okay.)

(This is mostly a comment to say yep to your QT and I am super jealous of the Arctic wilderness.)

This was a great day to move home and try to find a bar to go out for a celebratory drink at, anyway I may have accidentally launched my gin hour to start working through my collection thanks to bartenders wanting a distraction from the game.

In January, I'm not that much of a masochist.

Bree I was sitting next to someone from this area also named Bree (spelled differently) and getting progressively tipsier and then we got shots on the house because they won so. I feel this.

FWIW I am a) not a baseball fan, just live in Seattle adjacent territory and b) watched the last part of this game through distracting a bartender and that was enough.

I have zero idea what the crowd sounded like when the Mariners did the thing and that's mostly because the boss at the bar came out and poured shots for everyone when it happened.

Which, tbf, was us and the staff. 😂

I did order the pocket door locks for the two bathrooms and a pull for the primary suite (there are reasons why a lock will probably not work there) and then I looked at sheets and I probably still need to do other things tonight but.

I did schedule the gas and electric shutoff here at the rental, verified what else I have to get turned off (two phone calls, one in person visit), dealt with some admin shit, booked a hotel to go to Yellowstone next year, and dealt with the kitchen.

They have finally started the plaster in the main bathroom, and the final tile is going in on the floors. The backsplash will unfortunately need to wait another week, probably, but.

I had a pretty strong aura which I *think* was a migraine attempt, so I didn't run this afternoon.

I know things are rough right now for a lot of people so even if all you can do is boost the link, it's appreciated - I hate that because we are mostly pocket friends there is little I can do in person.

I wrote an app years ago for cross stitch stuff and people have used it and that is great!

I also made zero money from it, it has not been updated in literal years, and the only e-mails I ever get about it are problems they want me to troubleshoot.
